Description Automenu for Network is the world's best selling menu system for IBM PCs and compatibles. It provides easy, one-key access to all your applications, DOS commands, batch files and even Windows! The Network version of AUTOMENU is different from the single-user product in the following ways:

  • Support for new internal variables. AUTOMENU supports 34 internal variables including 28 variables for Novell and other network operating systems.
  • Ability to hide or gray menu choices. Menu choices can be hidden or grayed to prevent selection based on any environment variable, internal variable, or Novell group membership,etc.
  • Novell passwords can be used with the screen blanker. Access the system with the user's Novell password once the screen blanker has been started.
  • Broadcast Message Trapping. AUTOMENU will intercept Novell broadcast messages and display them in a window on the menu screen.

Notes: If AUTOMENU is installed on local hard drives as well as on the network server, a separate single-user copy of AUTOMENU must be licensed for use on each workstation.
